About us
WADA (Women’s Association of Deir El Ahmar) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization committed to making the town of Deir El Ahmar a prime example of sustainable rural development and intra-community dialogue. With the help of local and international partners, the association was able to establish the WADA center, a space dedicated to sustainable rural development and the empowerment of local communities.
WADA was awarded the “Dubai International Award for Best Practices to Improve the Living Environment” in 2002.
